01 / CRAFTING HELP
Ask DOT about a recipe.
Ask for an item’s ingredients or where to craft it. Browse the County Armory to compare recipes, quality tiers and compatible mods.
DOT, how do I craft a cement mixer?02 / EVERY RESIDENT COUNTS
Three sidequests. One County.
Fight, mine or harvest while you play. Three community goals run together, and everyone shares the rewards. Check the current goals:
/contracts- Neighborhood Patrol: 20 zombies solo, or 29 shared by two residents.
- A Little Groundwork: 25 ore blocks solo, or 36 shared by two.
- Stock the Pantry: 18 ripe crops solo, or 26 shared by two.
Those are the opening goals. Solo variants ask for 20–24 zombies, 20–30 ore blocks or 15–20 ripe crops. CIVIC rotates later contracts, including shorter express jobs. Each one offers 500–800 Dukes and 1,000–1,500 XP per resident and lasts 20–45 minutes. Larger groups share a larger goal; new arrivals never raise an active target, and fewer residents can lower it. Timers pause when the County is empty.
A completed or expired slot gets a fresh sidequest after 90 seconds. There is no daily limit. Fresh zombie kills, ore mining and ripe harvests count; moving items does not. Death never wipes the shared tally.
County Combo: finish one combat, one mining and one harvest contract for an extra 1,000 Dukes + 3,000 XP for the residents from those contracts. The combo then starts again. Apparently teamwork is deductible.
No sign-up, donation box or claim command. Everyone who played during a completed contract qualifies, even without contributing; stay opted in to County activities through completion. Rewards arrive automatically. Offline rewards wait for your return; Dukes need backpack space, and XP cannot take you past the level cap.
03 / OPTIONAL COUNTY WORK
Take a job. Make it count.
Type /county for your progress and /county choice for a contract. Read the objective and quoted reward before accepting. Track an accepted route in Quests; /county track restores its guide. Travel the route without teleport shortcuts.
For a shared project, use /works to see the current requested item, target and shared reward. Deposit only the requested supplies in a County Public Works Terminal and close it to contribute. Donations are permanent. Projects rotate; check the current request before donating.
/county off opts out of County jobs, events and buffs, including shared bonuses. Unfinished assignments end; earned rewards stay yours. /county on rejoins, and /county mode checks your setting. Ordinary world dangers still apply.
04 / DEAD MAN’S HAND
Your Dukes. Your decision.
Hold Dukes in your hand and press E at a Dead Man’s Hand machine. Each machine has its own stake: 5, 10, 100, 500, 1,000, 2,000 or 5,000 Dukes per pull. Read the machine before playing; each pull spends that amount.
Wait one second between pulls. Winnings are paid automatically to your backpack; no /claim is needed. Keep room for the payout. A win is never guaranteed.
05 / AFTER-HOURS INSPECTIONS
The County has company.
Prepare ammunition, repairs and an escape route before nightfall. Use /horde or /wastehorde to reach a server horde base.
CIVIC announces extra encounters and timed bonuses. Extra waves focus on occupied server horde bases. When those are empty, the largest nearby player group becomes the focus. Watch chat for the next warning.
COUNTY TRAVEL
Save your favorite stops.
Stand where you want to return and type /settele mine. Use a short name with letters, numbers, hyphens or underscores.
/listtele— list your saved locations and allowance./tp mine— return to your saved location./deltele mine— delete it and free a slot./bed— return to your current bedroll, free for everyone. Place a bedroll first.
Saved locations: Player 2 · Bronze 4 · Silver 6 · Gold 10 · Diamond 15. Your bedroll and County destinations do not use these slots.
Teleports are free, with a shared 30-second cooldown. Get off your vehicle before saving or using a personal teleport. Finish Shipment or Convoy routes before teleporting.
Saved locations are private and last through restarts until the world is wiped. If VIP expires, extra locations remain saved but locked; deleting an older location frees access within your current limit.
Use /teleports for County destinations, including /lobby, /horde and /wastehorde.
06 / BUILD SOMEWHERE THAT LASTS
Check the ground rules.
Do not build in a reset zone. Its original map terrain and structures can return, removing anything players added. Watch for the zone warning before placing a base. Lobby and protected-area restrictions also apply.
Licenses are consumable recipe ingredients. Craft a new one for each recipe that requires it; finished equipment can be traded. Use the Armory to find ingredients, workstations and compatible attachments.
The Resident Portal provides your resident file, County Store, voting links and world map.
